My name is Colin and I live in Metro Vancouver. My day job involves me working with a variety of computer systems, but my off-time from seeing friends and family consists of me playing around with anything that piques my interest.
While I have lived most of my life in the Vancouver area, I have spent a considerable amount of time living in Alberta.
This site's purpose and me
My goal with this website is to give me an outlet to place anything I am working on, anything I come across as interesting, and for anything that comes to mind. I don't wish to bore you with the day-to-day business of my life, but I will share with something that you or someone else might find interesting.
I am also an open-minded person with a liberal attitude towards life as a whole. In the past, I used to get into the whole 'X' versus 'Y' debate, but these days I find that it is easier to work with the tools that work best rather than be hard-up on 'X' instead of 'Y'.

If you have any questions or comments that you wish to extend directly, feel free to contact me! I am a rather friendly person (at least I think so) and I will take most e-mails with no prejudice if they're constructive--criticism is welcomed if it meets that requirement.
If you wish to share files with me, please keep them to less than 5 MB. Otherwise, contact me and I'll arrange a way for you get them to me.
For those who wish to find me in the real world, I do happen to be down at the Vancouver Hack Space (VHS) from time-to-time. Let me know in advance that you want to arrange to see me and I'll take the time to come down. You're likely to catch me there on a Tuesday or Saturday.
